They just want your $. Most matches were 10 years older than me, out of the age range I had put and outside distance range. Met someone through another source shortly after signing up. Customer service wouldn’t close my account until they had all my money. They sent me an email to file. It then took them a week to respond, but only an hour to charge my account for two years of service when I only used 1 month. Just glad to have account closed. Will NEVER recommend them.

eHarmony is a dating site that claims to match you to potential soulmates using its proprietary algorithm. I think their algorithm is just something more arbitrary. You can’t even see member profiles or photos. eHarmony will email you a few potential matches at a time with whom you can strike up chats and if you strike out with those, you can request more and so on. Of course, eHarmony tells you that you should stay with them for several months to be successful, i.e., for the site to make more money. Really, they should call themselves eHarMONEY!

I paid for a membership last Thursday and immediately regret it. I emailed them and they replied. Letting me know how I could work my way in the system and find a match. They asked me to wait at least 24 hours for results and so I did. 24 hours later, NOTHING. The system didn’t work and I was unsatisfied. They said if I wanted to cancel, they will help with the refund. I cancelled in the hopes that I would not get billed. They did reply me? NOPE. I emailed over and over and over again. THEY DIDN’T REPLY AT ALL. They give you this illusion of trust in the beginning and then POOF they disappear. Now I’m trying hard to get my money back and I hope it’ll work. I cannot imagine others who have paid so much more to lose their money in their search for love. This is such a shame. Neil Warren should be ashamed to call himself a Christian. He is not a true Christian as he is tricking people. NEVER EVER TRY EHARMONY. Save your money, save yourselves!

About 90% of the time they post a match, an email gets sent within 24h that the match has been terminated for security reasons. So that means this website is full of scammers? The real matches are few and far in between, so safe your money. Eharmony is just a joke!

4 years ago: SnapChat is an App for your SmartPhone that lets you send pics, memes, short videos and drawings immediately to your different friends lists. It has a younger user base because it appeals to short attention spans, like teens who don't want to read anymore. Facebook realized they were losing the teen market who find Facebook boring and offered 3 BILLION DOLLARS to buy SnapChat. The only reason I am saying SnapChat is CRAP is because SnapChat turned down the Facebook offer. WTF. SnapChat only has 30 employees so that would be 100 MILLION DOLLARS per employee. SNAPCHAT in their wildest dream will never make 3 BILLION if they monetize their app. And right now SnapChat is hot. In a few years, they could be passe.

4 years ago: This is a dating site for people who want to cheat on their spouses. It's supposed to be No Strings Attached and have millions of members. Well, I found the site to be full of crap. Most of the women were pros in my area, meaning they were escorts who wanted to charge for their services. One of the escorts admitted she worked on several dating sites and social networks to meet men. OK I admit I was curious and signed up to see if I might meet a cheating wife, but I didn't find anyone but pros who were looking to cheat the dating site's theme. It seems like the site isn't that well monitored for "real members" as long as the site is making money.

4 years ago: VKontakte is a social networking site similar to Facebook and more popular in Russia than Facebook. However, expect no privacy when you sign up and expect a lot of spammy and fake profiles. Because of the way that VK's file sharing system works, it's easy to download music and movies for free, but these are pirated which isn't cool.

4 years ago: I used to like twitter but now there are a lot of ads in my twitter stream. And Twitter sends me daily emails with: This person has a tweet for you and other b.s. like Do you know XYZ person on Twitter? And now that they are a public company on the stock exchange, I'm sure all I will see is more ads!!!!
